Climb a series of steps to reach the reception on to your right and you’ll be warmly welcomed into Hotel Harsha. The hotel was built 16 years ago. Minor renovations couldn’t do much to improve the look of the lobby, which is quite unimaginative and dull. However, the staff is courteous and pleasant, and is ever ready to help.

Hotel Harsha is 8 km away from the airport, 8 km from the Secunderabad railway station and 1.5 km from the City Bus Terminal. But it is quite close to the railway station at Nampally. The rooms are comfortable. The hotel is definitely wallet–friendly. Being centrally located is an added advantage.

The rooms have telephones with direct dialing facility. A cable TV with 30 Channels and in-house video programs are available in each room. Pure vegetarians can heave a sigh of relief because they can dine happily at the air-conditioned vegetarian restaurant with a lovely name — Green Casserole — that serves South and North Indian cuisine.
